| Our Work Areas

Reaching The Last Mile To Achieve HIV Targets

Alliance India works in partnership with civil society, the government of India and communities to support sustained response to HIV and other related public health issues in India and build healthier communities.

Slide READ MORE Our primary focus is on the key and affected communities that are at substantial risk of HIV infection. Our programmes are designed to also address other diseases and infections which have the potential to impact the lives of people we work with.

HEALTH (HIV, TB, Hepatitis C & B, Sexual Reproductive Health, COVID)

Slide READ MORE We build organizational and leadership capacities to foster community action and develop a sustained HIV response at local and national levels.

EMPOWERING CIVIL SOCIETY

Slide READ MORE We build capacities, engage, educate, advocate and provide technical support to build a stronger and inclusive healthcare system that is responsive to the needs of affected communities.

STRENGTHENING HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS

Slide READ MORE We advocate for the rights and dignity of vulnerable and marginalized groups such as LGBTQI identified individuals, women in sex work and people who use drugs among others. Our engagement with Government and private stakeholders is directed towards creating a more inclusive society.

ADVOCACY FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

Slide READ MORE Like many other determinants, GBV also impacts an individual's health seeking behavior in girls, women and transgender person. Our interventions try to mitigate the impact as well as the gender based violence itself in order to facilitate a safer environment and a sustained access to healthcare services.

GENDER-BASED-VIOLENCE (GBV)

Slide READ MORE Our work with youth and adolescents empowers them with appropriate knowledge and information and develops their capabilities to inform the stakeholders about their issues and needs and develops them into future leaders.

YOUTH & YOUNG ADOLESCENTS

Slide READ MORE We generate new and scientific knowledge, document best practices and best suitable solutions to the needs of our communities. Our research provides strategic knowledge and direction to the national HIV response and the knowledge created by our research feeds into planning and delivering sustainable solutions.
